It has been a lifelong passion of mine to capture, in photographs, the wonder and beauty of God's natural creation.A Floridian for 26 years, I have studied and learned to appreciate the native flora and fauna and the co-dependency between them. In 2002, I completed a Florida Master Naturalist course through the U of Florida, and have devoted the past 13 years of my life aiding in habitat restoration efforts at a local county preserve to benefit the endangered Florida Scrub Jay. Thank you! I took this at a local county preserve, where I am a volunteer-not far from my Leesburg home.At first he didn't see me as the sun was in his eyes, but once he did he retreated quickly into the brush.I felt that he was awaiting his parent's return.
