Thanks, Carol, for your nice comment and information-you are right about the Hemlock...I'm not sure I would add it to a home water garden, especially with children around. But in the wild, it is not only pretty to look at, but very benficial to wildlife...nectar fo butterflies and pollinators, and host plant for the Black Swallowtail butterfly caterpillar.

A lovely picture, Peg - V/F! You have a wonderful way of seeing the beauty around us:>) I feel compelled to say that water hemlock is very, very, very poisonous (all parts of the plant) and although no one should be afraid of it, they should approach and handle with caution and knowledge. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cicuta
